DYE PENETRANT INSPECTION – POINT SOURCE RECYCLE SYSTEM

The Sirco NDT rinse water recycle system uses a unique blend of filtration, adsorption, deionization, and oxidation technologies to achieve a 100% closed loop recycling solution for aqueous based penetrant dyes. Due to our unique configuration, the Sirco NDT system requires very minimal maintenance and almost no operator intervention. The design of the Sirco NDT recycle system can be tailored to each customer’s production floor layout and water quality requirements.

*The water quality from the Sirco NDT system meets and exceeds NAPCAP definition in AC7108 “DEIONIZED WATER” standards.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) – NDT Rinse Water Recycling System

  1. What is the NDT rinse water recycling system?
It’s a fully closed-loop system designed to recycle rinse water used in non-destructive testing (NDT) processes, specifically for aqueous-based penetrant dyes. It cleans and reuses water through a combination of filtration, adsorption, deionization, and ozone sterilization.
  2. How does this system benefit my operation?
It saves water by recycling up to 100% of your rinse water, reduces waste disposal costs, and ensures compliance with strict water quality standards, all while requiring very little maintenance or operator effort.
  3. What makes this system low-maintenance?
The unique design integrates automated processes like ozone sterilization and efficient filtration, minimizing the need for manual intervention or frequent upkeep.
  4. Can the system be customized for my facility?
Yes, Sirco Industrial tailors the system to fit your specific production floor layout and water quality requirements, ensuring it meets your exact needs.
  5. What water quality standards does it meet?
The system exceeds the NAPCAP AC7108 standards for deionized water, delivering high-purity water suitable for NDT processes.
  6. What technologies are used in the recycling process?
It combines filtration to remove particles, adsorption for contaminants, deionization to purify the water, and ozone sterilization to eliminate biological growth and organics.
  7. Is this system suitable for all NDT applications?
It’s optimized for aqueous-based penetrant dyes commonly used in NDT. If you’re using a different process, contact Sirco to confirm compatibility.
  8. How does it handle regulated contaminants?
The system effectively treats water with contaminants like penetrant dyes, and any waste is managed to comply with regulations, though existing treatment systems may handle final waste disposal.
  9. What equipment comes standard with the system?
It includes 0-100 pressure gauges, float level controls, rotameter flow controls, and ozone sterilization components, all built into a rugged, customizable setup.
  10. How do I get started with this system?
Reach out to Sirco Industrial via their contact page or call 714-969-1413 to discuss your needs, get a tailored design, and arrange delivery and setup.
